I’ve been meaning to post Mitsu’s latest album, but just haven’t gotten around to it until today. It’s a 3 disc LP featuring singers and Hip Hop artists like Grap Luva, Elzhi, Maspyke, Kev Brown, Cy Young, and WildChild. Mitsu’s beats on this one revolve around the sounds of Jazz and Latin rhythms and draw a lot of influence from such producers as Kev Brown, Roddy Rod, DJ Spinna, and J Dilla. My Favorite cuts are but not limited to, “A Word To The Wise”, “Ridin Around”, “Tokyo Girls”, and “Gettin Em Up”. Instrumental version also available in 2LP format. Highly recommended.
